2. I will!
I love Paul Newman and I've met Michael Ontkean before. He's married to a girl from my old hometown. At least, I think they're still married.

5. Kuhhhhlasssssicccccc.. Very pre-PC dialogue if I remember.
Doesnt Paul Nemann tell the owner of the team that her son is going to grow up to be a fag?

6. I don't remember anymore.
It's been too long.

But we're up to the scene where he's screaming at an opposing player about his wife being a lesbian.

7. Here's the dialouge ( setup:Newman goes to owner's house to save the team)
Newman: People go nuts for us. You could find a buyer.

Owner: I don't think you understand finance.

Newman: Your son looks like a fag to me. You'd better get married again,

cos he'll have somebody's cock in his mouth before you know it.

Owner: How dare you! How dare you!

8. Now I remember!
It's been years since I've watched this. Sucks that I can't actually sit down and watch it. I got it on in the background while getting ready for a school party.

11. Hockey fans might enjoy this film
"Net Worth." http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113956/maindetails

IMDB summary: "This powerful tale of the NHL's early years follows Ted Lindsay, an all-star for the Detroit Red Wings, in his quest to create a Player's Association to protect the rights of players against the ravages of monopolistic, profit taking owners. Lindsay, spurred on by the memory of a former teammate who died broke because he couldn't access his pension, mobilizes players from around the league to his cause."

I've seen it a couple times. Damned good film. Made for Canadian teevee.
