Whew! It was like grand central station here all afternoon. The home inspector, appraiser, realtors, and buyer all just left. It went well, though -- just some minor stuff on the inspection and our realtor thinks the appraisal will be OK. I need a drink. :beer:

I live VERY close to your brother, I think. We're a couple of miles west of 95, too, off Glades Road. South Beach Park is sort of between Glades and Palmetto Park, although Glades doesn't go all the way over. Pleasant something highway doesn't ring a bell, but there are lots of neighborhood roads I wouldn't know the name of. Do you know what neighborhood he's in?

We'll only be here for another month or so. We're moving to TN. :bounce:

That is, I think I remember that he lives off of Palmetto Parkway about a mile before it starts to get undeveloped. Just before some nature reserve park, southeast of the post office. PP is the next exit south on 95 below Glades. Glades is where Whole Foods is, right? He's in a development who's name escapes me.

Yes, we are psyched! Things are falling into place, little by little. And the funny thing is that most of things that are wrong are things that the builder did 12 years ago and passed inspection then! :shrug: Still, they're no big deal. I don't think it'll cost more than $50 to fix everything.

I am a sports writer for a newspaper in CT but I am just working in the office tonight. Taking all the calls and stuff from the high school coaches who are calling in their games.
It's kind of boring work. It gets really busy though. :(
