What do you folks know about sms.ac?
Is this for real or some phishing scam?

I just got a message from a friend who moved away a few years ago, actually a message from sms about joining her "mobile network" if it's on level, sure I want to be neighborly, but on the other hand I am loathe to give up cell phone number etc.

1. I seem to remember signing up for it once, not much came from it,
since I'm not that into texting, I was just curious. But I believe it did come with a certain amount of advertisements on the service itself..... I do occassionally get a text spam from time to time but it's nothing big or annoying.

2. Ah, I see,
I'm not into text msg'ing either. in fact I'd have to pay for EVERY SINGLE one--I don't really want to encourage that sort of thing!

I'll have to send an email to let her know I'm not blowing her off thogh, I suppose.

Thanks :)
