Nick-Nick is getting groomed today (1st time ever).
He is nearly four and will not let me bathe or brush him. I have given him one bath in the three years I have had him. It wasn't an issue when we lived in the mountains, because he played in the creek almost daily. But now, he is a dirty dog and he sheds terribly. The professional grooming is aimed mainly at the shedding, but also at getting him used to a daily brushing. I bet the groomer is having fun right about now with that little devil dog.

2. Nick-Nick did great at his 1st grooming.
He behaved very well, smells great, and looks like a show dog now. Seriously. He looks great. I'll post a new pic tomorrow.


Shaggy Nick-Nick of old. His new "do" makes him look years younger (all his panther-induced gray hair is gone) and pounds lighter.

3. My dog loves going to the groomer
he goes every other Friday whether he needs it or not...but he knows when he's clean and shiny and struts around rather proud of himself
