I'm arguing about sand in an online community. |
|
My life is pathetic.
Basically, I encountered the freeper version of a bearded dragon owner. She's keeping a hatchling on sand, which if swallowed, can kill them. Give her articles on why it's dangerous, etc, and she's all, "well, but they live in the desert, so you're a liar. I think mine is smart, so it won't eat sand." Gah...if you want to be stupid, fine. Be stupid. Don't be stupid when it comes to your pets.

I'd like to have one, but with my lifestyle it would be a real pain in the ass. If I did want a pet the first thing I would do would be to research how to take care of it before I bought it.
If you think the person in your original post is dumb, think about this. People have kids all the time without knowing a damn thing about how to raise them.

There should be an intelligence test or something to be allowed to breed. Man, if she won't meet the needs of a baby lizard, imagine how she'd be with a baby person. Let's hope she doesn't breed.
