Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, people are a dissappointment. Even the ones you think are on the same wavelength seem to wind up letting you down in the end. You can put forth all the effort you like, be there for people when they need you, but it seems like they only have a use for you until they clear whatever mental hurdle they're in the middle of, then they're ready to vanish again.

5. Every person I've ever know has let me down

Even as my standards have gotten progressively lower. What's worse is the ones replacing the old and gone can't light a candle to 'em. I fear human evolution is falling victim to the Second Law of Thermodynamics.

But no one has disappointed me more than God Himself. Talk about an incompetent executive! He makes George Bush look good. He's running this enterprise (Existence) into the ground. With a limitless supply of miracles to hand out, He wastes them all on stupid things, like the Boston Red Sox.

On second thought, maybe the Red Sox thing was kinda cool.
