I stumbled upon an old Bette Davis movie I had never seen last night
"A Stolen Life".. I thought I had seen all her movies, but I missed this one..Glenn Ford looked like he was a teenager, and Bette was a chickie herself..

She played identical twins, and I must say in the pre green screen days of 1946, they did a pretty good job :)

Won't spoil it by divulging the plot, but it's worth wasting an hour and a half if you ever see it on TMC:)

1. IMO, that is one of her best roles ever!
I am sorry I missed it! It really showed off how wide a range she possessed as an actress. :hi:

2. This is famous...
for Carol Burnett doing a parody sketch of it. I remember watching it when I was a little girl, and laughing hysterically. I especially remember her talking about the lighthouse, and the foghorn that called her name..."Hi PAT-sy!"

My mom, being such a heavy duty movie buff, says "oh it's 'A Stolen Life!' "

The minute I found it in the viddy store a few years ago, I HAD to rent it.
