ARSENAL IN PARIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally, for the first time in the clubs history, Arsenal have made it to a European Cup final.

A 0-0 result vs. Villarreal confirmed a 1-0 win on aggregate to send Arsenal to the final, and in Paris!

Paris, the hometown of our captain, Thierry Henry, and our manager, Arsene Wenger.

Our manager has totally changed this club, his philosophy of playing beautiful football, after all these years...no other manager deserves to win this competition.

We will meet either FC Barcelona or AC Milan, to be played tomorrow in Catalonia.

UP THE ARSENAL!!!

...sorry, can't post this in sport section ^_^

I was only able to catch the beginning of the game. Thanks for posting this.

BTW, why can't you post this in the sport section?

4. I'm embarrased to admit...
...I haven't donated. Don't think you can post in the football group unless you've made such a contribution.

5. oh, okay
don't sweat it

I don't really go into the sport forum because I don't like most sports except for Soccer/Football, which is not very popular there. I'm glad I caught this post in the Lounge.

6. Yes, same.
The match was very tense, to tell you the truth, Arsenal were very lucky to escape with a 0-0. They mostly defended the 1-0 lead they got at Highbury, and Villarreal had all the best chances.

Jens Lehmann was our MOTM, he saved Riquelme's pk in the 88th minute that would've sent the match into ET. He's been huge for us.

I couldn't be too vocal, otherwise I'd wake my parents! lol

9. Favourite players
I've grown to really like Flamini in his LB role. He shows 100% commitment to the task, and just gets on with it. He's got balls.

Henry.

Toure, wonderful defender, finally getting recognition on the continent, and he's friendly and down to earth.

Fabregas, what a talent.

Mad Jens, he's crazy, but a legend. Wonderful season from him!

Hleb, got into a good run, scored a great goal vs. West Brom, and I love his footwork and close control.

Amongst others...:)

10. The submarine advances
That was one of the most boring matches I´ve seen sofar in the CL.

Looking forward to the Barcelona - Milan game tonight and hope that it will be better.
