Why does my thread with the pictures from Prague sink like a stone????

That and I can't look at picture threads. I am running my computer through a proxy server so I get charged 4c per meg.

Also, I was surprised to have thought of Czechoslovakia twice in one day... earlier I mentioned how the song Little Green Apples seems to be tied to the Soviet invasion.

Interestingly, having spent so many years around the world, I thought the photos were great, but the thing that really caught my attention was the structure visible in the distance in the third photo of the bridge - I was trying to figure out what it was.

11. It is a modern television tower

it actually hurts the scenery when seen in RL. Prague has a lot of churches and this tower is distroying the beauty of that.

"jarring" - It doesn't fit in, but like people seem to be so fond of saying, it's like a traffic accident, I just had to look.

It's far too wonderful a day to be at work - but it wasn't that long ago that I was still being a lazy sod in bed.
