What are YOU having for dinner?
My husband is baking Cajun Seasoned Chicken...and my eyes are burning....Holy crap...He said he didn't put that much on the chicken, but my eyes are watering and stingy. I'll bet it tastes good though....We'll be having it on salad with ranch. YUMMO

1. Well, I WAS going to make chicken alfredo over angel hair pasta...
cold vegetable salad and fruit salad, but my husband had an unscheduled root canal this afternoon and won't be in any condition to chew that kind of meal.

So it's back to the drawing board. Maybe I'll give him a peanut butter sandwich and a malt.

12. there is a very cool Thai place
that moved in down the street and we have practically started to live there...

I've been crazy busy, too. But it's warm now (well ,except for the coat of ice on the birdbath this am) and that makes it all better, somehow.

8. Mr. Z. is out, so...
Zookids and I are having "build your own" burritos.

Basically, I make quacamole, chop some onion, fill a bowl with shredded cheese, another with refried black beans, slice that yummy left-over grilled steak Mr. Z. made on Sunday (add his homemade tomatillo and habenero salsa), put out lettuce and chopped tomatoes. Open a package of tortillas. Shout, "Hey, kids! It's time for dinner."

Only cooking required is a minute in the microwave.

That's for my sweetie...I can't stand gorgonzola myself,

24. Odd taste buds, I suppose.
I like almost all forms of cheese...but gorgonzola tastes like lighter fluid to me.

Luckily, I just found that we still have a tiny chunk
of some pricey fontina in our cheese drawer...guess
whose end of the casserole THAT is going on!

YUM!

Had no problem being a vegetarian for 42 years. But this vegan stuff is a whole different thing. Don't know why I'm doing this to myself.

23. There's not much in the cupboard
I'll probably have some tinned salmon salad over cucumber slices or rice crackers, and I think I have a bit of spinach left...maybe a spinach salad, too.

Or, I may have the salmon salad on spinach on rice crackers, and some cucumber slices and dressing.

Or perhaps I will have the salmon on rice crackers, and put the cucumber IN the spinach salad.

Decisions, decisions...:dilemma:
