How many times have you lost your ATM/Debit card?
I just lost another one, bringing the total to three since the beginning of the year. Is that alot? My bank is irritated with me, but it's not like they're stolen. I usually find them two weeks after getting a new one.

3. Never actually lost one.
I "lost" a credit card once because (I know this is vain of me) the bank brought out a new design which I prefered.

I was advised by my bank to report my debit card as missing so that it would be stopped and a new one issued - this was following a security issue.

But all of my cards have their own little place in my wallet, and *taps head* touch-wood I haven't lost any of them as yet.

9. Hey, that's not vain!
The design in important! In fact, I met my last boyfriend after we struck up a conversation over the picture on one of my credit cards! :)

5. Once in the last ten years or so.
So, yeah, I'd say it's a lot.

But, back in my more disorganized student days I would lose my student ID at least once a semester. So this stuff happens.

6. never

I've misplaced a credit card for a few hours.
I even canceled one only to find it a few days later.
But my debit card stays with my wallet.

I've lost ATM/Debit cards, credit cards, keys, wallets...it drives my wife crazy!

One funny story about this...years ago (when my son was about 2 years old) I lost my ATM card (again)...couldn't find it anywhere...so our bank to had issue a new one. Then, about a day or two after I got my new card, I was trying to put a tape into our VCR...and there was my lost card. It seems that Adam (my son) had seen me use the ATM card so many times, that when he found it, he stuck the card into the tape slot of the VCR.

Of course he was probably disappointed when no money came out.

18. Maybe once when I was a teenager.
3 times in a year is a lot. You should put it in a wallet always, then somehow attach the wallet to your body!

20. The only way I will no longer lose them is when ...
they start surgically implanting those GPS chip things in our bodies and they can also function as our Debit cards.

Grrr... No sooner did I reply to it and now my damn atm card is missing! I don't believe it! It was in my wallet and I've been looking for it everywhere for over an hour and have called all the stores I visited in the last 2 days. I haven't even used it!

24. I have to say that I have never lost any of those cards.....
They all have a dedicated place in my wallet.....

And there they stay!

I'm not the sort of person who's always changing wallets, or purses.....

I like to keep things simple!

I know, I'm boring!

27. well, maybe...once, but
I really didn't lose it...

Story: When I got the visa symbol on my atm card, I used the credit part of it to withdraw money from my account/pay for things all the time, and through time, i fogot my atm pin number. I was at Winco in Sacramento, with a cart load of food, and when i went to go pay for it, they didn't except the debit part of the card, but the accepted the ATM part, and I slid my card through the machine, and for the life of me, I could't remember my damn pin number. I tried a few times, still no go, so I paid in cash. Thank god, I had enough cash on me, the people behind me were giving me the "eye".

Later on that same day, i went to SAFE Credit Union atm machine, and tried my atm numbers a few more times, and after my third "fail" the machine sucked up my card, and my card was no more. I had to go to Safe the next day to get a new card, and wallah, new atm/debit card...:)
