I saw a coyote in my neighborhood last night |
|
I live in the DC burbs. I've lived in Montgomery county for 40 years and never heard of them being around here before. There have been a couple of articles that they were moving in but I wouldn't have expected them where I live.

1. Those things are survivors. We had them right outside our yard... |

until the new subdivision went in.

2. These are moving into the neighborhoods, not out |
|
I'm going to have to keep an eye on the pup when I let her out at night

5. Yep, they will take a pet. We didn't worry... |
|
We had Chows. With their thick fur and loose skin they'd have been a tough fight for coyotes.

3. Wait til the neighborhood pets disappear! |
|
I always shoot them on sight. I have taken flack on this board before for making that statement but thats what I do. My neighbor has lost calves to them. Have you ever considered an encounter with a rabid coyote? Coyotes are bad news- especially ones that are comfortable around humans. There were a couple up in Nashville a few years back at a local park. The neighbors demanded action when their pets started disappearing. I shoot them dead on sight. Hey, the buzzards need to eat too!
