I'm going to become a musical egalitarian as opposed to a musical elitist |
|
How does that work? You can have opinions, but you don't express them out of the worry that someone's feelings will be hurt? Or do you just add a half-page qualifier to everything like: "I say band x sucks, but I also realize that musical tastes are entirely subjective and that some inherent value can exist pursuant to the Wittgensteinian amorphous state of aesthetic modifiers and artistic modes"?

1. Just crank up the techno, swallow the pills, and dance |
|
That is how one becomes a musical egalitarian

2. You could always try something like "Band x sucks, |
|
but does have some redeeming qualities." (Such as that every now and again they stop playing and go home.)

3. Opinions are like assholes: they're full of shit. |

Music is objective. I have good taste. Most others have bad taste. Period.
