That would be one heck of a feat indeed!

I only got to 500 in a month because I was on vacation for a couple of those weeks so was able to post more frequently than I would normally be able to do.

You and Ms. NewYawker99 are truly prolific - in a wonderful way!

I've only been here a month and they are already getting too repetitive for my liking.

I expect to branch out to some of the other special interest forums as I find my way around ~ the skepticism and writers forums appeal, as does the justice forum. I'm sure I'll find many more of interest as well.

DU was recommended to me by a friend when I was complaining that I couldn't find a decent, busy, fun, diverse, and intelligent talk board to join.

Edit: That reminds me, I still have to thank him for recommending DU. Note to self: send thank you.

that I first came to the Lounge because a few Lounge people who lurk at the Sept. 11 threads sent me private messages commenting on me being a "voice of reason" on the Sept. 11 threads and suggesting that I visit the Lounge.

My views don't fit neatly into any of the pre-ordained "sides" defined in the dungeon - but we can discuss by p.m. in further detail if you like.

(To answer your question, though, I do not believe that the WTC buildings were taken down by pre-planted explosives in controlled demolitions. That, however, does not necessarily preclude the existence of some type of explosives having been present. Like I said, my views don't fit the pre-ordained "sides" - I think that the government is covering up all manner of ineptitude, incompetence, corruption, bribery, failures in security, intelligence, procedure, communications, building and fire code violations, by a whole host of governmental and related offices and agencies, and that it gladly used the attacks for its own illicit purposes. But I do not believe that the gov't commissioned or participated in the attacks, nor that they let it happen on purpose. Nor do I buy the "official story" as being the full story.)
