We shall overcome: The Seeger Sessions by Springsteen |
|
I was wondering if anyone else has bought this cd? Thier are several songs on the albulm that almost move me to tears most notably Shenandoah. I also really like his renditions of John Henry and Dan Tucker. Note these may be folk songs but The Boss has put his own unique spin on them. Trust me the cd is great.

almost wept out loud. I wish I had some more money to get some of the rest of the songs, but I'm saving myself for the Neil Young album!

2. Seen the video on VH1 classics... |

of "Pay Me Down."
Great cover. I wish they'd show others instead of playing the same one every thirty minutes.

I have already lost track of the number of times I've played it. "The Boss" still rules. :headbang:

5. Love it, love it, love it. |

It's joyful, raucous, and just a little bit rowdy.
The most fun I've had with Springsteen in a decade. :-)
