i'm about to get $6 million from some nigerian i don't even know..... |
|
how cool is that!
some nigerian barrister needs to get his client's millions out of nigeria and he somehow got my contact information and knows i'm trustworthy. he says that if i let him cook up some fake paperwork about me being a heir to some dead rich nigerian he will transfer the 6 million dollars to my bank account and i get to keep 15% of it.
all i have to do is give him a bunch of personal information of mine and wire him $2500 to cover the balance of some legal expenses and transfer fees. he's already sold his car and his sister to get the rest of the cash he needs to do this.
little does he know, i'm not that trustworthy and i will keep all $6 million.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
that's right suckers, i'm about to be rich and all it will cost me is $2500!

2. you know...it's not every day that some nigerian offers to give you.... |
|
...a large sum of money just for letting him transfer an even larger sum of money into your bank account as long as you send him a few thousand dollars to cover some miscellaneous fees.
oh wait....it does happen every day.
wow, who woulda thunk there was that much money in nigeria?
what will he say if i just tell him to take the $2500 for fees out of the $6,000,000 he's about to transfer to me?

3. Must be those Nigerian dollar trees. |
|
But, yeah, wouldn't it be easier just to take the fees out on his end? Oh well, I guess they know what they're talking about. ;)

5. the coolest part is that the nigerian bank that emailed me.... |
|
...wrote all in upper case letters just like the barrister. the bank president had the exact same bad grammar as well.
and the best part is that the email address for the bank was from a web based free email service called myway.com. i guess nigerian banks don't bother having their own domains. it's a good way to cut overhead.
this is so cool. a lawyer and a banker, both with bad grammar and free email addresses are about to send me millions in cash. i saw the pending bank transfer and aside from the spelling and grammatical errors it looks 100% legit.
i love the internet!

9. wow.....these goofy scammers are so fun to mess with.... |
|
it's so easy to string these dumbasses along.
it's funny to see some of the fake documents they send you to try to convince you that they are about to transfer the millions into your account as soon as you pay the fee.

typically old people, who crave some sort of attention and communication, they end up having the entire bank accounts wiped out. Not to totally buzzkill this thread or anything - but if it didn't work, nobody would be doing it.
