'Fun with Dick and Jane"- much better than I expected.
Just finished watching it on DVD. For those who haven't seen it, it's a pretty brutal satire of the whole Enron/Tyco/Adelphia thing. There was even a reference to Bush's infamous "Now watch this drive" live. It's not high drama, but I'd recommend it nonetheless.

1. watched it last weekend.
a LOT of good laughs, but ... as you say, brutal satire and I thought, very well done.

5. It was pretty funny for the first half. I related to a lot of the
corporate B.S. It lost steam when they were trying to get back at the Ken Lay guy (Baldwin).

Normally Jim Carey annoys the heck out of me, but he was pretty good here.

Did you catch all the Gore-Lieberman posters?

I loved him in The Truman show, The Majestic and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, maybe a bit in Batman since i love the riddle character. Other then that, meh.

6. I saw it with a group of friends...
When the "Now watch this drive" parody came on, the friend that was sitting next to me (also a liberal) and I exchanged looks like, "Holy Christ, did that just happen?"

It wasn't as bad as I expected, either. I'm not gonna run out and buy the DVD or anything, but there are worse ways to spend a couple hours.
