Not that I know of. Only about 500 of these guitars were made.

Adrian has mostly played Les Pauls, as Fripp, I think. Harrison played a lot of guitars, but not this one. Allman played Gibsons. No to the rest.

27. Very few ever heard of this brand. |
|
This is a very tough question. Only a vague memory of the shape could help most people and they would have to have been concert going in the early 70's.
Don't feel bad. :)

I would have done the same thing, had I not run across the Guitar Player Magazine article that (finally) identifed Farner's early guitar, made by Messenger. It has an aluminum neck. DOH! :)

48. One of my very first albums |
|
With good ol' Mean Mistreater on it, same time as Paranoid came out, I was 16 the Frisbee had just been invented and since we now had STEREO's that played with needles and were actually PORTABLE, we'd take the Albums out in the yard, plug into an extension cord and throw the Frisbee around to the strains of these guys slamming through the speakers.
One of the high points of my young like, ditching school days.. knowing I was going to be drafted in two years made me get an attitude..
Okay, now I have a question. Just picked up a beautiful 50 watt VOX, the new kind with tubes, and they have 15 or so amp Models in them, so you can play the old AC15 or AC30 just like the brits when they invaded. It's really amazing, all these amps in one lil old box, love the future..
So I have a question about this VOX, if you know anything about them..
Also picked up a Roland Electric drum kit with 99 drumsets.. if I had these at 16 I'd be a millionaire by now, but never approach the BEST power trio in the world, Grand Funk Railroad.. no one has touched them and never will.
Thanks, my guess was John Lennon..
