Holy Shit, my dad's van got hit by a shed yesterday!

Yes, you heard me right, a building, though a small one, hit my Dad's van. Thank goodness he wasn't in it, but talk about unusual. OK, in my area, we had some storms and a LOT of high winds lately. Anyways, yesterday my Dad was at work, and while on smoke break out in the parking lot, he was heading towards his van to get something out of it. On the lot is a shed for storing some stuff, and it was supposed to be bolted down to the concrete, however, it was recently repainted, so wasn't bolted down yet. So, as he is walking to the van, the wind kicks up, and the shed goes up and over, slamming into the van.

It actually didn't cause THAT much damage, a lot of denting on the driver side door and the entire side of the van is scraped up, but, the best part of course is that his company is going to pay for all of it, good thing too, it was their fault. Just a note, the damage most likely costs more than the van is worth, so my parents may just take cash so they can get a new car, who knows?

Of course you should have seen his past Buick, it was a late 80s model Regal, big assed red car, hand-me-down from my Grandparents, anyways, one winter he was driving home from work when he sideswiped an illegally parked and driven Garbage Truck, the driver was the son of the owner of the Garbage company and was only 16, you need to be 18 to have a CDL to drive one of those things. It damn near sheared off the top of the car starting on the passenger side. The messed up part is that he was almost all the way home and drove the car in that condition all the way back after filing the report. Unfortunately, the frame was bent, and they junked it. The good thing, not a scratch on him, just shaken up.
