Is anybody out-there? - alias the entertain billyskank thread.

I realise that for most of the U.S. (and thus most DUers) it's Sunday afternoon which is rightly spent drinking, eating and doing very little indeed. So I'm wondering who is actually here to have some fun.

Isn't lusting after him enough? Good gods he's demanding!

Now where did I put the vodka? After all.... alcohol is a much better bet than a man who won't take his freakin' trowsers off! And it's Sunday, so why not?

I just expected you to make snarky comments from the side-lines.

Hey that's what you are doing :wow: T.J. managed to predict snarkiness from Khash. :P

I've no idea where the vodka is, but if you know how to mix a good long-vodka that would be a splendid idea right now.

67. Umm not so good...
Last night I was told I'm fat. Normally, I weigh about 165. But I was sick and now am 6 foot and weigh 134. I lost 30 pounds! And I'm fat!

And, yes, I did break my nose. And it has to be reset. Which means me and a hammer. Not exactly what I would consider fun. Cuz I always flinch at the first blow.

And this Mafia dude I know said if I don't come over and eat lasagna with him he'll get his "friends" to take care of it. He said he hoped I had good health insurance.

So... I can beat me into a bloody pulp or let someone else do it. Or more likely both. So I'm not feeling exactly uhm positive. Now where did I put the hammer.......

So, TJ, having a happy Monday?

Khash.

25. I hope that you enjoy it.
It is so much more intimate to see chamber music - I tend to prefer the repertoire of larger-scale works, but with chamber music one can really see the musicians working together and communicating.

What works are they playing?

Yes - it's about quarter to ten here. I've had a very good day, and as I'm off work tomorrow, I don't have to get things ready so am just relaxing with Herodotus and D.U.

Even better - adds some expectation for you.

Unfortunately its a bit of a cultural wasteland here - London is close enough to get to, though not close enough to be easy. I'll be in there for several of the Proms though, that's for sure. :bounce:

A total of 8 each year - Northern Ireland gets 10 though (keeping both St. Patrick and the Battle of the Boyne to appease both sides of the sectarian divide).

One can usually find something important which happened.

The problem isn't so much finding the reason for the holiday - it's convincing the puritans who run our government to make it a holiday.

Such is life.
