Sopranos - Johnny Cakes
Another great episode. The Vito in NH arc is getting interesting. His line, when you lie for so long, eventually you start to believe it, nailed the situation. It was well written and well played out. Joey G is a far better actor than I thought.

The AJ story line is getting dark. He is going ot do something stupid. what is it with the sons of the Soprano family leaders. AJ and Jackie Jr. are flat out dumb. It cost Jackie Jr. his life and it may cost AJ his life or Tony is freedom.

I think Julianna Margulies is one of the sexiest women on TV. she plays a sophisticated, yet down to earth girl, so well. She will be fun to watch for awhile as Tony can not keep saying no to her.

Overall a great episode. Big Love also was great.

1. Agreed on all counts...
I am enjoying this season although I've heard lots of grumblings that people don't. Whatever. I think the drama and writing and character arcs are just great. The pathos of the whole Vito situation is just so sad and so riveting. Really good stuff.

2. Speaking of Vito-He was the one that Popped Jackie, Jr.
I had forgotten until I saw highlights of that Season.

4. Yeah
Which was hard for him because Jackie Sr. was once his capo and leader of his crew. That was the first move for Vito up the chain. He took a difficult order for Tony and whacked someone close to him to keep the peace in the family.

3. I don't understand why Carmela won't let AJ just join the 'family'
I mean it's obvious that AJ isn't the brightest bulb out there and last night just proved that AJ is stupider than a Rush Limbaugh listener. Meadow is living the clean life outside the family business. Wouldn't it be better to just setup AJ in the family and give him the proper training instead of him doing the stupid stuff he's doing now. Plus, with Adrienna gone - who's running her club Crazy Horse? Let AJ learn the ropes there

5. Got to keep them out of "the life"
AJ is an idiot. He is going to follow the path of Jackie Jr. and get killed or be the downfall of his father.

7. With all the problems around him
his own son is going to be the one that brings him down. AJ is just too stupid to commit a crime. Plus, he is not exactly a strong guy.
