RENT.Was. Amazing.

So I went down to NYC on Saturday and saw RENT, the musical. I wanted to go to the peace rally but mom just so happened to buy the tickets for that day.

Well, NYC was great as always. It was a beautiful day. At the train station in New Haven, we saw this big group of people who were headed down to the rally. It was great to hang out with some of them. I talked to a few people while waiting for the train.

Anyway, RENT was awesome. I cried a bit but not as much as I thought I was going to. It was sad though.

We ate the this place called the Brewery for lunch before the show. It was a bit off of Times Square so it was less crowded, which worked out well for us. We tried to get into Hard Rock Cafe but the 250 JETS fans there for the NFL draft didn't leave too many tables available.

Then off to the show after lunch. After the show, we walked around for a bit before having dinner and drinks at the Marriott Marquis.

All in all, a great day!

I've seen it twice on Broadway cuz I just love the soundtrack! So glad you enjoyed it.

I was at the peace march, and squeezed in "Jersey Boys" and "Sweeney Todd", but I stayed in town for 4 days! I highly recommended those plays for your next visit :D
