What Was Your Favorite TV Show When You Were A Child?
I used to love Petty Coat Junction. I always wanted to be Betty Jo. I was jealous of her gorgeous red hair, and had a crush on her hubby Steve Elliot.

The Monkees was another favorite. I think I ended up with crushes on all of them at one point but Mike. That hat just did not appeal to be.

My Three Sons was another favorite, especially Robbie and Katie and the Triplets, and the dog too. Was his name Tramp too, or was that just the dog on the Brady Bunch? By the way I hated the Brady Bunch. LOL. I was a Partridge camper.

Also I loved "Here Comes The Brides," especially Candy and Jeremy. I was a sappy corny romanticist even back then. LOL.

3. That was a great show.
June Lockhart was wonderful and she ended up in Petticoat Junction too, during the last few seasons.

It was also cool her daughter Anne was on the original Battle Star.

Especially when they would go back in time. Barnabas, Quentin, Angelique, Dr. Julia. I tried watching it as an adult on the Sci-Fi channel but it was taking too long to get anywhere.

45. OMG! I loved that, as well!!!
I had to get home from school just to see it. I loved Barnabas and Angelique and Quentin and Maggie, followed them through time in all their different incarnations. My friend let me borrow the videos quite awhile ago and I stayed up all night, just planning to watch one more. Looking at them now, the production values are terrible, but the story is still compelling.:D

I didn't watch much kids' programming, I was fortunate enough to spend most of my pre-teen years on College Campuses and thus had tons of other kids around in Married Student housing, so most of us were outside right after breakfast and watched TV with our folks before bed.

Star Trek reruns - See a pattern :)

Also, Get Smart and Gillian, Buck Rogers was in there somewhere

I think that covers it for non-cartoon stuff. There were one or two early "japanesse" imports - Voltron and the other one I can't recall the name but the 5 kids fought off alien invaders and could form into a flaming phoenix and the youngest kid kinda beeped and bopped when he talked. Transformers were good too.

And of course the whole Brady Bunch/Partridge Family Friday night block

But also, our local PBS station ran "The Fidelity Silent Film Festival", which occupied Friday nights when I was a young teenager - "The Gold Rush", "Broken Blossoms", "The Thief of Baghdad" - a lot of amazing stuff.

52. I have a vivid memory of a Petticoat Junction episode...
I was maybe six or seven, so it had to have been a rerun, but the young married sister is out hanging laundry when a man happens by (salesman?) and calls her "Miss." She happily corrects him, saying, "Mrs.!"

I also liked My Three Sons.

My favorite Saturday shows were The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Hour and ElectraWoman and DynaGirl.
