Cats don't care
You can have cervical discs floatin' around your knees so that it hurts to freakin' blink, and they're still doin' big cat eyes at ya.

"Feed me."

"Scratch my tummy."

"Clean my box."

"Balance my checkbook."

"Get my commodities broker on the phone."

:eyes:

They live for it. Are you kidding me?

3. I draw the line at balancing their checking accounts.
So I got them an iMac and installed Quicken for them, but by God after all that they will have to handle their finances themselves. Unfortunately they tend to blow all their money on catnip and sparkly balls.

7. Awww, she does care about you
She wants to make sure you feel needed. And to make sure you understand -- very clearly -- who's boss.

(sorry your back hurts)

9. I still think Sheri Tepper said it best
"Cats don't give a fuck about religion or much of anything else"
"If you want to see what contempt looks like - watch a cat watching you"

Khash.

11. They do care...But they realize that 90% of our troubles are due to
our inability to get over our selves.

They offer us the opportunity to think of someone else for a change. :)

15. Well, I ain't feelin' goodly
Tweaked my back today mowin' the lawn. It was already tender; I got some discs out of alignment, I think. Then one of the mower wheels hit a fence post and jerked my neck a little bit.

Doesn't hurt so much as it feels tender and fragile, though.

No wonder Lucy is ticked at you. She thinks you're replacing her!

20. Cats are pure LOVE!
A little demanding but worth it.

Careful ~ don't let Lucy trip you while she is rubbing herself all over you. ;)

22. Our non-human friends can be so comforting.
Even when they're being demanding.

However ~ We do have ways of showing them love too.

25. Funny, when I'm sick in bed
the cats just surround me on the bed... nice and close.

It's almost like they know I need them.
