5. That I will randomly start blurting unsocialble stuff in public, or
randomly try to break the nearest persons neck.

How's THAT for a phobia?

12. Feeling trapped in any way
All phobias except simple phobias (those of a specific thing, i.e. spiders) are based in feeling trapped or out of control. I have literal agoraphobia — being in the middle of a desert or other wide-open space — as well as claustrophobia — being stuck in the middle of a large group of people or otherwise physically crowded.

These would seem to contradict each other, but they're really based in the same thing, and they can extend to a whole bunch of other situations, like being stuck in traffic.

But the bottom line is, a phobia, in practice, isn't really the fear of an object or situation, but of how we react to it. We fear how we'll feel when confronted with it.

16. Nope, but I had a friend who was phobic about buttons.
The bigger the button, the worse the reaction. He had no idea why.

17. Spiders...and bugs in general, but mostly spiders.
I'm the sort of person that would jump into the nastiest brawl to help a friend but I will squeal for the nearest boy to come kill a spider for me.

LionessPrianyka got to witness me having a mini-spaz attack when a butterfly flew into me at the march (I didn't realize it was a butterfly at first).

Oddly enough, I'm fine handling with crickets and worms. Probably because my mind just associates them with feeding my lizards.
