Which Female Celebrity Is Most Often Impersonated By Drag Queens?
Or... which ones do you most enjoy seeing drag queens impersonate?

Cher, Liza and Patsy are my favorite ones to see performed. I remember seeing one performance in DC of the "big-hair" version of Reba that I really liked too.

Here I am dressed as Cher. (If I could turn back time!)

PSYCHE! HA! That's not me!!

1. How about Dolly Parton?
What I thought was funny was that when my husband and I were in Las Vegas we saw a bunch of ads for drag queen performances, and they *all* had Michael Jackson impersonators. I mean, he's a guy!

2. It has to be Cher.
*I* have never seen a bad drag queen impersonation of Cher.

BTW; ha ha on the psyche. :-)

11. In Brazil, Madonna is WAY more popular than other draggables.
(Hey, did I just invent a word?)

7. May I ask a silly question?
What is it about Cher that makes her a popular drag queen figure?

12. I imagine it's the low voice, the great skin, easy hair....

she has sort of a mannish look to her (IMO, I also think this about Jennifers Garner and Aniston, and myself--not an insult, necessarily) that I think is easier to pull off, than say... Audrey Hepburn or Cameron Diaz.

Also, her Bob Mackie fashions just scream "Try this for yourself!"

15. Bob Mackie's Costumes
...are also why Carol Burnett's characters were so memorable too. I think you're right about that. They just look FUN to wear.

14. I've Seen Grace Jones In Concert Twice...
... very intimate club concerts, barely a stage... very enthusiastic audience, but still she felt comfortable enough to hop down off the "stage" (in reality, a slightly elevated dance floor) and interact with folks IN the audience.

13. Beyonce is going to be a big one for the future, IMO.
I mean, she looks like a caricature of herself sometimes already.
