I'd dissolve into a hysteria of laughter and sobbing, but I was strange to begin with.

Silk.

I can grow damned near anything Outside...can't grow shit indoors. Never have been able to.

Avoid the guilt...go outside and plant a garden.

43. You can eat fruit that has fallen off the tree
Perhaps you can even pick it when it is close. I have heard that some people actually do that in that they don't hurt any living creature.
I don't know if one can be healthy doing that or not. I am not sure what is all considered fruit for their purposes. Things like oranges and apples are obviously fruits. Tree nuts might be fruits for their purposes. I don't know if beans are "fruits" though if they are picked rather than ripped out by farm machinery.

36. I mourned the death of my cactus
Edited on Tue May-02-06 07:42 PM by Nikia
I found him on the roof of my college dormitory. I bought a small pot for him and put him by my window. He kept on growing and I kept on repotting. He increased to at least three times the size that he was when I found him. I had him for 4 years when I tried to repot him for the last time. He somehow broke. Evidently, he hadn't been too healthy and that spot and had perhaps been dying already, but it really upset me.
My husband has wanted to know if I want to get a plant again. I refuse though. In our current place, which is where my cactus died, we have no good windows for putting houseplants near. Living in Wisconsin, they cannot stay outside most of the year. I am afraid if I got another plant, I would have a hard time keeping it alive and it would meet the same fate as my poor little cactus.

58. Nah, I gave up on them
all my efforts go in to the garden outside, I just have lots better luck. All my house plants are silk. Just destroyed to many innocent lives and plants are better off without me tending them. If I got depressed...they had to suffer for it. Poor things. Low energy for me -no water for them. Hummm maybe I did feel guilty...change that answer to... Yeah. Sometimes I'm too blond for my own good.
