Not too bad. Some gingivitis, nothing much to do other than keep brushing and flossing. I got a good thorough cleaning (dentist said I had about 1/4 pound of tartar- I hope than was a joke.) I had one giant cavity that he filled (I went because I felt a giant hole in my tooth). No root canal needed.

$610 bucks. Cheap.

Oh, lots and lots of nitrous. Watching Anchorman on nitrous was pretty funny.

1. Confession
When they're doing the scrape around your teeth under the gums routine, I like to hold a mirror up so I can watch too - there's something satisfying about seeing all that junk getting pulled out

2. How can you do that?
You are so much braver than I.

4. Well, it's not going to make it feel any worse, despite seing my gums
protest with vast amounts of blood, but it's nice to see all the crap come out, and know what's going on.

5. I went to a dentist once, and I came out a male.
And I didn't sign any papers, either.

TOtally weird.

On a serious note, I've been to dentists plenty times - had a lot of work done a couple years ago. But never got nitrous. I've never even had a dentist ask me if I wanted it. Not for my root canals, not from the dental surgeon on the tooth extraction... I've done wippets, which are hilarious, and I'd love to try nitrous sometime, but never got the opportunity.

And, let me also say congratulations to you for only having one cavity after 18 years! Damned impressive.

6. Wippets are nitrous
Just a bit more concentrated than from the dentist. Ask for nitrous. It's great. if you won't get any find another. There is no magic rule that you have to use a particular dentist.

Ask anfd you shall receive. it is not like it a narcotic or anything.
