Oh great, it's that time again- any help with presents for my mother?

I need to come up with two, since mothers day and her birthday are both this month. Since I lost my job I can't spend a lot of money.

Any advice?

1. Buy her some stamps with photos of the grandkids?

2. Hallmark store has great cards for 99 cents...

And then you could just cook her lunch or dinner. Moms are great. They just love spending time with their kids. :shrug:

3. Adopt a Wolf?

My mom's birthday was yesterday. I got her a book signed by the author at the LA Times Festival of Books.

I'm going to maybe adopt her an animal or shop at the Animal Rescue site. They have great gifts there.

4. Can you make something for her?

Maybe a pretty wreath of dried flowers? She'd probably prefer that you didn't spend money if you couldn't afford it.

I just thought of this. If you guys are tight, make her and old school finger paint picture just like when you were a kid. My mom would love it if she was around. Some times it's the simple stuff that say I love that work for mom's. My 2-cents

Write her a nice letter letting her know how much she means as well. :) It's not about expensive gifts. :)
