3. Raw eggs: good enough for Rocky Balboa
good enough for me!

Seriously, I do risk raw eggs, but I know where mine come from AND I wash them off well with water and bleach before they make it into the fridge. Chicken poop will kill ya!

Oh, and there are powdered, pasturized eggs too. Just found some of those. Cool.

Guess you could just eliminate the eggs from your recipe? Sweetened condensed milk & heavy, old world style cream make it pretty thick & rich ;)

6. Speaking of chicken embryos: Having Ceasar Salad tonight too
Yep, made the traditional way. (well, I can't actually go out and catch the anchovies, have to use some from a tin). But I do make the dressing with coddled egg.

Coddled egg beats coddled pResident every damn time!

2. Was that a typo, and you meant "drank" instead of "made"?
But if you did mean "made" -- please share the recipe, I never knew it could be "made" (doh!)

4. Google! Is't not just for researching how to overthrow criminal juntas!
It is amazing what one can find... I'll let you decide which recipe to use, depending on how you feel about raw eggs.

I have long heard (from friends with more Irish than moi) that it was easy to make, but they never made any... x( Today, I am an Irish Goddess!

Easy... hard part for me is it is a LONG friggin drive to get Irish Whiskey. Lucky there was some in the cupboard! :D

5. Ohhhhh... now I get it... you need to start with Irish Whiskey!
And as for Google, how right you are. I am amazed at how often I forget to Google things I want to know about.

7. There are some GREAT recipe sites out there too
I love RecipeLand.com They have a really nice search engine. Search by title, type of dish, ingrediants... just the ticket if someone gives you, say 60 pounds of pears or something

17. LOL I see you've done this before!
I like to make up a double recipe of spinach souffle, divide it into several small foil baking pans and freeze it. Each time I do that, it takes about everything big enough to harvest from the greens patch.

Do you like Swiss Chard?

11. It's hard to get Irish into a bottle?
Who knew :shurg:

OK, before the Irish Anti-defamation League gets on my, I am a goodly part Irish myself. And I am not much of a drinker. In fact, I am a failure at drinking to excess. (tis a flaw I am working to correct today)

But we tend to start fightin' if you try to put us into a bottle. And you don't want to make me get my Irish up.

Picture tall, thin red-headed Irish girl, prone to randomly quoting literature and such. Meanwhile, I once witnessed her kick out a window because some guys pissed her off.

Her parents are generally whacky. Her little brother is cool. Her grandmother hates me. That's all I know.
