Funny Craigslist Apt. Listing: apt for "OPEN MINDED" roomate private room/

I currently have a 2 bedroom 2 bath in XXXXX, and my roomate is moving out.
rent is $1575 split, and we rent a fridge for $30 bucks a month, so your total is $802.25 plus half the utilities. We would also need 1/2 the security deposit, since my roomate would be getting that back, in the amount of $790

The apartment is just over 1000 sqaure feet. Space for stackable washer and dryer, i just haven't gotten around to purchasing one yet. but there is on site laundry pretty much right out side our front door, along with a trash shoot, so you never have to go far.

HUGE patio. Comfortable living room, nice size bathrooms.
tandum parking spot in underground gated garage.

I do have a cat and several small animals, so you must be ok with them.

Your room has sliding glass door leading onto patio, and there is also a sliding door in the living room.

I am a professional working female, i work full time. I do like to have guests over on the weekends, and go out and party as well. i like to keep my home clean and tidy, and enjoy just kicking back and watching tv, or doing art work. i love animals and have lots of them, and plan on getting more. i love to cook, and will make a deal with you, if you want me to cook for you i would love to, you just do the dishes, if not, we share the house work, just be resctful, if the trash is full, take it out, if the floor needs vacume, just do it. I am ok with any use of 'extracuricular' enhancers and alcohol, i just ask if you smoke cigarettes please do it out side.

I thought the babbling factor was funny - plus there are a lot of spelling errors for a "professional female"

I just think this chick would be way too much to take. Just the impression I get.

edit: Another thing - it's in the wrong section. This is a apt. to share and it is listed in the apts for rent. Believe me it's weird...I've been apt. hunting for 4 months!

6. Advertising "hey, I'm smoking weed in my apt" is a bad idea

The way the current legal climate is in CA, most rental properties have zero tolerance clauses that make drug use cause for termination of the rental agreement and eviction (laws were set up to encourage this to get absentee landlords to deal with dealers and abusers of crack and heroin on thier properties, but as usual the application was quickly expanded so that good landlords and tenants who do not disturb thier neighbors suffer.)

Even if nothing else on the advertisement were concerning that would be a deal breaker for me. I don't care if somebody smokes, but I don't want to be out on my ass because they're too dumb to keep that fact off the internets or at least not connected to thier address.

13. Actually, that was always the rule in places I lived in.

Not only by me but with the other people I lived with. Now I'm back home so I can't smoke anything in the house. I always have to go outside for everything.

17. It depends on whether or not she keeps them clean.

I have three large reptile cages and two rabbits in my room. There is never an odor. The rabbits get cleaned up daily. At one point, I had twenty birds (including babies). The bird room didn't have an odor. It would just get very dusty from the birds (especially the cockatiel).
