Whew! I thought I lost my cell phone! |
|
Edited on Wed May-03-06 06:51 PM by ZombieNixon
I spent five minutes furiously searching for it through my backpack, my clothes from this week and my desk, freaking out all the way.
It was sitting on top of the desk, in plain view, six inches away from its usual spot. :dunce:
I'm fucked up. :banghead:

1. I hear ya. I just found a valuable Chrisopher Reeve calendar |
|
in my office that was missing for 3 days. Phew.
I've been losing everything this month since I decided to move. Don't you just love it when you find the thing that's lost?

2. Usually at that point I don't need it. |
|
So I put it aside and forget where it is and then when I do need it I can't find it. x(

3. I'm so glad you found it, my dear ZN! |
|
I think when you're in a stressed state, which you still are, things like that are more likely to happen....
You just need to be a little bit more careful, and you'll be fine!

4. I'm terrible with my cell phone. |
|
I lose and break chargers and cellphones with precision and skill actually. Although, I've never permanently lost one. The dumbest was when I lost it on my bed for a week. I had put the book I was reading on top of it and didn't get back to the book for awhile. The amazing part is I ripped apart all the bedding, but somehow the book covered the phone the whole time and I never looked under it.
I did have one stolen once and that really sucked. I liked that phone.

5. I once dropped my old phone in the river. |
|
:o I managed to fix it, though. :)
Problem is that this is my only phone, so if I lose it, I have to use someone else's to call my parents and tell them I lost it. x(

6. The one that was stolen was indestructible. |
|
It fell down numerous flights of stairs. Accidentally thrown into a wall. Accidentally thrown into a parking lot. Dropped into assorted bodies of water. It just kept going.
You know what else is durable. Those little remote keys for Saabs. I once threw mine in an argument. It fell apart in the street. I collected the pieces and snapped it all back together. It still works fine three years after I broke it and rebuilt it. Saabs are quality...right down to the little weird remote keys.
