I just poured chicken broth into my glass of Shiraz.
No, I'm not shit-faced (yet). I was talking to my brother on the phone and I meant to pour the broth into a small measuring cup. Still talking to bro, I almost poured the broth/wine mixture down the drain. I stopped short. The broth was to thin a veal demi glaze, to which was going to add Shiraz! What luck, eh? I saved the hog, and the squeal.

7. I'm back. Had to walk Nick-Nick.
The stock/Shiraz worked perfectly on my uber-thick veal demi-glaze. The ultimate results? OMG .. way too good!

8. You've got to try tartar sauce and whipped cream
My wife once mistook tartar sauce at a buffet for tapioca pudding. Granted, the condiments were next to the desserts, but the look on her face when she took her one and only bite was one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life.
