Seems lately that when I post there, I either get ignored or attacked...nothing in between. And, I REFUSE to bow down to total agreement when it's SUPPOSED to be discussion...hmph! There's little I totally agree with in GD posts, and I do have an opinion, but apparently that's just not good enough!

3. Tamarind Kool-Aid.

I kid you not. It exists. I have not had it in Kool-Aid form, but I have had it in bad Mexican candy though. Mexicans are completely welcome here as far as I'm concerned, provided they leave their CANDY OF DEATH in Mexico.

8. I've had tamarind in Thai & Indian food.

It was fine. Not death inducing at all. However, when I was in HS, my friends and I tried a bunch of the stuff on Bad Candy along with other random Mexican candy that we tracked down in local Spanish stores. Seriously, they are not exaggerating the reports on their website.
