MrsGrumpy's Crying Game...Part 2...
Two days ago...I cried over the death of Dr. Greene.

Today? Well today I am listening to Johnny Cash "The Legend", the friends and family disc. I bought this for MrG (my own personal Man in Black) for Christmas, even though he has all the songs...it's nice to have them all in once place. Anyway...I am BAWLING at times here. We saw "Walk the Line" last weekend and it blew us away. I watched it again with my dad -yes I'm supposed to be packing- today...and I've been intermittently sniffly ever since. Now, I'm supposed to be cleaing up the house so I put some music on. Johnny and June singing "Jackson"...   and thinking about that makes me think of Waylon...which makes me think of MrG's daddy...which gets me going all over again.

***SOB*****

Okay, thanks then, for listening. :)

and as far as I'm concerned, that's "doing great"

It's almost completely gone. What's left of it doesn't bother me anymore.

10. You too, huh?
I've had the boo-hoo's this week myself. The other day, I watched one of Ava's animations on her web site (the animation was "No More Broken Promises") and not two seconds into it, tears were running down my face. Yesterdy, I saw another DUers post about his mom, who recently died, and once again, here come the tears streaming down the face. I don't cry all that much, but this week, I've been a real Sob Sister.

I hope you feel better, MrsG.

12. I'm doing really good...just in a melancholy...memories kind of funk.
I think it's due to sifting through the house and packing away some memories.

Thank you SG...Too bad we can't get together and share a 1/2 gallon of ice cream.

through the years? I don't know who does that one. Maybe Chase too. They seem to have the market cornered on commercials.

34. Well, it's about Johnny Cash and a personal experience of mine...
Edited on Thu May-04-06 02:13 PM by MrsGrumpy
MrG's Daddy killed himself and MrG found him on Father's Day of 2000. MrG and I were raised on Johnny, Waylon, Merle, Willie, the Carter Family etc... To have your husband's head in your lap while he tries to shake a vision no son should ever see is an awful thing.

Anytime I hear this music it brings the tears.

Sorry it wasn't the story you were looking for. :(

in my family it wasn't done. I have a hard time crying. It usually involves music, though. And I always sleep well the day that I cry.
