Why do I feel like Tracy Di Vicenzo?
in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"

And more importantly, for a first-time actor, George Lazenby is surprisingly effective. If only he'd stayed on... and didn't gel down his hair to try to look like Connery (and as the world was in Conneryshock at the time, it's no wonder he became the scapegoat and was sacked...)

4. IMHO, Lazenby was one of the closest Bonds to how he was in
the books. Boy, that's an awkward sentence...

5. "Lazenby most closely resembled the Bond of the books."
There, is that easier?

B-)

7. It's a very underrated film...
Rigg is of course the most beautiful and talented actress ever in a Bond film--and Lazenby *wasn't* all that bad, certainly no worse than Connery himself in "Dr. No"--I think they should have stuck with him...
