Poll question: Ultimate cult movie
Edited on Thu May-04-06 10:33 PM by EstimatedProphet
You know, a movie that attracts an incredibly loyal fan base, often far larger than it would usually deserve. The kind of movie that gets quoted 30 years after it's been forgotten.

I'm leaving a lot of blanks so that people can fill in some others.

9. Why the HELL isn't Rocky Horror in the poll?!?
Damn. It's got Meatloaf and everything. They even filmed a little bit of it in Denton, TX, for cryin' out loud.

12. That's My Choice Too
Yes, Brad - it's something we ourselves have been working on. But it seems our friend here has found a way of perfecting it - a device that is capable of breaking down solid matter and then projecting it through space and who knows, perhaps even time itself.

Peter Weller was great. But Kurtwood Smith as crime lord Clarence Boddicker kicked serious ass.

"Ooooooh!! Guns, guns, guns! Come on, Sal! The Stockers are playing - to-niiight!! And I never miss a game."

And my answer wasn't the answer.

But that, as always, is beside the point.

41. It was great when it all began. I was a regular Frankie fan.
Nearly every Saturday night for two years. Usually I just did props, but I was in it once or twice. That was a long time ago. Almost embarrassing. Not that it was so long ago. Just that I did Rocky Horror.

Rocky Horror is just so fun, because of the whole phenomenon around it.

Pink Floyd The Wall is just a trip. I also am very partial to "Fantasia".

Rocky Horror, Spinal Tap, Repo Man, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and The Wall, among others. I have a hard time deciding which of these is better than the other, so they're all at a tie for first place. :)
