2. I heard her on The News Hour opposite Santorum

and she did pretty well against him. Anything that makes the junior PA Senator-at-large look less electable in an election cycle is good news for me.

But, yeah, that Alito thing is a bitter pill.

They urged me to throw her a buck or three.

4. She's alright.

She's certainly not the most consistent Democrat, but she's despised by Ted Stevens, which is as good a ringing endorsement as one can get in my book. McGavick has already met with Stevens at least once, if I remember correctly, and I think Cantwell can get a lot of support by highlighting that fact.

Ted Stevens is a douchebag.
