It's one of those movies that kind of sticks in my brain after I see it; I'd recorded it on cable, and went back a couple of weeks and watched it again just so I could try to figure out why it affected me so strongly (and now I want to buy a copy). And like others on this thread, I REALLY want the soundtrack CD.

I felt like I should have liked it more given the material. It struck me like a baked item where there's quality ingredients but something went wrong in the mixing and the cooking, it came off not as good as it should have been.
