and it involves- get this- a Hummer limo. How perfect is that? I'm sure it also entails beer and the strip club. I don't know whether to pity him or... pity him.

1. My sister-in-law was just recently in a wedding involving a Hummer limo
It caught fire!

So the bride & groom arrived at the reception in a fire truck!

In a way, it's sad. If this is the best our military can come up with, trucks that just randomly catch fire!

:eyes:

2. Bwahaha!
One of the redneck boys I went to high school with had a truck that "burned down" in the school parking lot. To that point, I had been unaware that a vehicle COULD "burn down."

10. You probably did....it was in the local news at least.
One of those "light-hearted" human interest stories.

4. Pity him!
I went to a bachelor party once. A close (male) friend of mine (I'm female) was getting married and wanted only his closest friends there. He wound up being the only man in a "bachelor" party full of women...just worked out that way.

This was in New York City. We drank bubble tea in Chinatown, played Dance Dance Revolution til we got bored (doesn't take long), then we went to a club to see the amazing Afrobeat band Antibalas play and danced for real until our feet were about to fall off. It was GREAT and he was so happy!

5. My bachelor party sucked.....
My Brother had me down to columbus to go out with his accountant friends... I'm an accountant as well but don't make it a habit of hangin' out with the bean counters....

So the high point of the evening came when the one started to laugh hysterically about this guy who, get this, tried to depreciate land.....

11. Oh my.

You know, I find those things ridiculous just in general but I find them a billion times more ridiculous when I see them here in the midwest. I mean, they make no sense. I can't explain it. Environmental concerns aside, they're just tacky and out of place. They're like vehicular VD, I guess. I don't know--like I said, I can't explain it. That said, (and again, all environmental concerns and other baggage related to their existence aside), I bet they're fun to play in.
