A review of Mission: Impossible 3
Today I went to an early showing of MI3.

The beginning was ok. It seemed like it was going somewhere... but then... no.
The plot was a Big yawn.

I thought the first two were SO MUCH tighter than this one.
All of the character development was awful.
The things that saved the movie from being god awful were:

Some Good acting. Philip Seymour Hoffman was awesome. He did the best he could with what he had.
Ving Rhames is always fun.

Other than that there are some good action sequences. This film was 1 action sequence after another.(Another reason character development was nil) Some were good and suspenseful- some were downright ridiculous.

The ending was eh.

I was dissapointed that Laurence Fishburnes role was so small.

As for the bad guy? I knew the whole time exactly who it was- as did the 2 people next to me. It bothered me that Tom Cruises character didn't get it.

All in all it was an ok movie. I'm glad I saw the matinee and didnt pay full price. I saw 1 & 2 at least twice each in the theater- with this one I really dont need to see it again.

As I was leaving the theater I could hear alot of the 40 people who were in there with me talking. Here is some of what I heard-

"it was one explosion after another and now I have a headache"

"that one sucked"

"he didn't look gay in this movie"

"what a retarded story"

"I want my money back"

"What a dissapointment"

"It was ok I guess"

"Dude the last one was way better, right?"

and finally,

"it didnt suck"

I give it 2 stars and advise waiting for DVD.

3. If you hated the first two
You would have either killed yourself or taken hostages during this one!!

I really liked the first two & I'm not ashamed to admit it.
