Why are ticks so bad this year???

I have never seen a year like this my whole life. I have Frontline on my dog and cat as always but they are just everywhere and we are picking them off all the time.

2. I haven't seen any yet.

We just use Petguard Natural Flea Collars on the cats, but they seem to work. If things get real bad, I use the halo concentrate (which also is non-toxic and works for people...doesn't smell bad). Ticks usually don't get too bad here. Now down in south Jersey they're terrible. Yet another reason to hate south Jersey.
