Are you celebrating Derby Day? How?

I have always loved horses, but never had one. I am no really into horseracing that much, but since I moved to Kentucky 11 years ago, I have really gotten into the Derby and the Triple Crown races.

Our local NBC station broadcasts news all day from ChurchHill Downs, and several ESPN type channels cover pre-race stuff. I try to get the news on the horses prior to the race and pick out a few favorites. Post time is around 6 PM so I do a lot of channel surfing until then.

I have Seabiscuit DVRed and will watch that tonight.

I love the greatest 2 minutes in Sports! (and I really do not watch sports on TV)

Got to see him at the Arkansas Derby and he's got a real shot in this race. I'll be celebrating .... going to my mom's farm to kick back, saddle up with some snacks and watch the pre-race hoopla and then cheer like hell for Brother Derek. :) Sure wish I was in Kentucky, though. :hi:
