I will give my undying gratitude, lust and financial means....
To the person that can stop this damn nose from dripping constantly.

I've killed a damn tree with the amount of tissues I've used.

I've chugged Nyquil like it's a Grey Goose Cosmopolitan

I've popped more cold pills than Rush Limbaugh has popped Oxycontin

And yet the nose keeps dripping

HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPP..........

1. Well..
I find that Tylonol - PM's dry my sinuses up. Sure that may knock you out... but when you wake up you should be dry nosed for a few hours.

Or you can just resist the urge to sleep and you should still be dry nosed.

 My best advice.

2. I have an old-time cure for you
My Grandmother used to say: "If you give your undying gratitude, lust and financial means to a redhead your runny nose will go away!"

Ah, the wisdom of the ages.

6. Actually, my Grandmother was a Christian Scientist
And she would probably tell you (if you asked) that faith alone could keep that runny nose away.

5. Alcalhol
or it might be spelled alcalol.

ask for it at the pharmacy counter (you may find it on the shelves, but it's not likely). When you ask for it, be sure to ask for the nasal douche (or cup).

9. Lynn, if you find a cure, let me know...
My nose goes from dry and cracked to runny every third minute. I can't figure out anything to do to stop it. Oh, and I won't even start about the sneezing.

10. I put vasoline on my nose
For when it gets real cracked and dry - eep! That is just nasty stuff.

I'm trying to get some sleep but I can't sleep with my mouth closed and my nose stuffed.

What a way to spend my vacation days - in bed sick and miserable.

You come to my place - we'll be sick and miserable together!!

11. Nyquil is useless. Use a robitussen specifically for runny nose...
It helps to use remedies that actually work!

BTW, the store brands of the robitussens are every bit as good as the name brand, and usually 1/3 the price. Get a symptom-specific one...

You'll thank me later!

13. try aleve... honestly
One of the reasons your nose is running is because the nasal tissues are all inflamed. Aleve is an anti inflamatory.

15. Tampons?
I mean, you could cram cottonballs up your nose or something...

That being said, antihistamines without decongestants will dry up secretions somewhat.

22. Antihistamine
You need something with an antihistamine in it (alto, that will also make you drowsy). Check out the allergy section of the drugstore and good luck.

25. vicks vapor inhaler
I use it at the slightest stuffy nose.

Instead of vaseline on a cracked nose, try chapstick. Not so gooey, works great.

27. Use some Afrin
Right after you use it, your nose will run like hell. Don't blow for 10-15 minutes. Then blow, and give it another squirt. Again, wait 10-15 minutes before blowing.

It'll shrink up all the nasal tissue, and the dripping will stop.

28. Yahoo - My nose is drying up!!!
I took a Clariten. I've used it before when my allergies act up and figured why not use it now since really my main sympton is the damn runny nose. (Ironically I only get bad allergies when the pollen count is really high)

Dry as a buttercup!!!
