When a person somehow gives you "the creeps", what is it
about them that does that?

That just happened to me. A guy came by at my work. He's gone now, fortunately.

The main weird thing about him was he seemed to be talking too much, talking about taking a bus vs. a cab, talking about the fantastic computer he'd just bought, etc.

I guess the main reason this gave me the creeps was that it's getting late and the place is rather de-populated in the evenings.

I wasn't scared of him, but...apprehensive.

1. Usually I can't tell exactly what it is.
But it is always a good idea to listen to that feeling. :D

3. Exactly - a certain intangeable something.
A very definite feeling, but one which can't be specifically identified.

Not a good feeling though.

2. I have a book suggestion for you
"The Gift of Fear" by Gavin De Becker. He talks about that in the book.

4. Thanks--already read it, and it is a real good book.
Very helpful talking about listening to our gut feelings, intuition, whatever you choose to call it.

5. I think all women should read it
but that is my humble opinion.
