My nuts...
You'll need more than two hands to hold my nuts. I just bought several containers, as they were on sale.

And yes, my nuts are lightly salted.

I wish all of you to have such a plentiful nut stash.

7. It is.
It's like donating blood. If I donated blood, and you needed blood (and I hope you never do) then it's for the betterment of another person. I'm not exploited.

If you need a nut butter sample, I can...oh, nevermind. I haven't had a post deleted all day.

Free range nuts are largely akin to their confined kin. They just lack the intense confinement that comes *ahem* with being non free-range nuts.

37. Trust me - I think of the nuts ALL the time....
And I'm sure the nuts don't mind a bit of inclement weather now & then.

Plus any self-respecting nut farmer wouldn't leave his nuts lying around to be run over by Cletus in his Dukes-of-Hazzard-mobile.

Loose nuts are very beneficial, especially the low-hanging variety.

49. Quite correct - but that experience seems varied
Some nut farmers you talk to say it's a frequent occurrence, others say it doesn't occur as often. Some do the stimulation themselves, others get outside help. Cross-fertilization appears to be the most useful tool in this activity.

But loose nuts, in my opinion, ARE the best.

We all need to take our nuts into consideration. For example, I've seen your whitewater suggestions, and I think that you'd need a large influx of nuts to do much of that.

The other day some friends of mine rounded a bend in the river and ummm, interupted a couple! The lass was waving at them as they passed.

And for the record, I just couldn't snowboard--I'd break something, probabaly somthing I'd miss!

47. No way, dude.
Snowboarding is easy in comparison to crashing down even the smallest of falls in a fiberglass/plastic shroud.

Besides, there's a big diff between hitting a massive flow and shredding a man-made situation. You deal with what's put forth, my mountain is designed, then put forth. My run is calculated. My half pipe is perfect. It's up to me to dial it in. Those in a kayak, it's all about dealing with what you're dealt.

Kind of like comparing a vert ramp to skating street.

Edited on Mon May-08-06 08:41 PM by eyepaddle
Like that waterfall thread I've got out there right now--gravity does all the workyou just ride along and bob back up. In that series of pics I lean back a little too far (that actually makes the boat point DOWN) and I needled straight in. I think that fall was run eight or nine times that day--and I was the only dummy who had to roll up at the bottom!

The balance you get from boarding really helps with boating (most boaters snowboard too, I'm kind of an oddity--I just cross country ski)

I've got an extra boat--if you ever make it up this way I'll get you out there shreddin' the holes!
