...but the word "whore" doesn't quite fit Katie Holmes, IMO. I think it is overall a sad and manipulative relationship.

It's a very sad situation that to me speaks volumes about the culture surrounding Scientology. Many jokes have been (rightly) made about Scientology, but in the end, it is people like Katie who get sucked into this bullshit and end up hurt.
