And I have actually studied the cultural differences and yes, they do exist. I have worked for International companies and people with this certain mindset of which I speak are VERY difficult to work for.

is you didn't just say that. His nationality doesn't STOP you from saying that, but generalizing about his nationality is in bad form.

I was using black men as an example of a group of people that most frown on generalizing about, no matter your personal experience.

This has nothing to do with being an 'internationally known Russian cultural expert', this has to do with it being bad form to make sweeping generalizations about nationalities.

I'm not looking for your street creds or your history of family accomplishments, I'm giving you a heads up. Generally, bad form.

- This is what we call a generalization. You are implying that all Latvians and members of the Eastern European Bloc are jerks, based on the bad experiences you've had.
