3. I had a lightning bolt touch down closer that once. |
|
I was sitting in the den of my mom's house during a thunderstorm that was even nastier than the usual Florida summer variety. Lightning bolt hit the pool about 40 feet away. I barely even remember the bolt-just a blue-white flash, there and gone in an instant like any other, but I sure as hell remember the thunderclap. Loudest thing I've ever heard. Jet engines and rock concerts didn't hold a candle to it.

7. A girl got hit by lighting at a concert I was at once. |

It sounded like a bomb. People actually went running.

11. That is a cool photo! |
|
We had some gnarly thunderstorms come through around 8PM last night. The little one had a difficult time going to sleep.

12. I love thunderstorms. |

So violent and beautiful at the same time. I'm sorry your kid had trouble sleeping, though. :(

Wouldn't Bush be a little way off to the side in the White House?
