1. Cigarettes.
CLose enough, I'd rather smoke than eat, any day.

but it was not so fresh.

My favorite eating has all been in Washington and Alaska.

8. Midwest seafood comes in a box; it' not exactly seafood
I'm not even a big fan of saltwater fish, so I don't miss it, but going to Galveston or San Francisco or San Diego is always a seafood treat for me. And there's nothing quite like cooking up some seafood that you've caught by yourself on the beach, is there?

soft, luscious high-fat cheeses that I don't eat anymore. :-(

And potato chips with sour cream dip.

I have lost 25 lbs so it's sort of been worth it.

17. The Festivus Ice Cream was only around for a couple months in 2000.
However, I could obtain it at the 7-11 in Landing, NJ for about six months. I was very stoned my senior year of HS and that 7-11 played an integral part of my life. Slurpees were a food group.

19. Hehe.
Yeah, I spent age 17-18 mostly stoned (and the summer I was 18 doing acid 2-3x a week) and I pretty much lived off of cigarettes, Doritos and Mello Yello...spent lots of time in convenience stores (and wandering toy departments with my friends in search of things that glowed in the dark to play with while we were tripping).

20. Ah tripping toys...
Most of the time I'm pretty content just playing around in my head though.

The frisbee with the blinking shamrock light was cool though (just a Guinness sticker with LEDS). Unfortunately, I lost it somewhere on the streets of Madison. I guess it's okay though, because I once found the Sistine Chapel on a sidewalk in Madison.

I get very internal on acid, but then I'm an introvert anyway...had some of my best experiences just laying in a dark room with music playing (Medeski, Martin & Wood's 'Shack-man' and the Future Sound of London's 'Dead Cities' were my 2 favourite 'psychedelic experience' albums...)

45. England is also the home of the worst food ever, too, though.
To wit: canned mushy peas.

And though the tea and beer are good, the other beverages are from bizarro land: Ribena? Tizer? Fluorescent lemonade... my grandmother used to reheat their coffee, and it would grow some kind of skin on it. :puke:

Yet... I miss british food anyway...

39. Yes! There was a man who used to prepare it that way in our
area. He actually had an old double-decker bus painted with the Union Jack and rigged out as a mobile kitchen/restauraunt. It tasted just like the original. Sadly, he died of a heart attack and the business died with him.

I haven't thought about that man or his fish & chips in years.
